Mobile controller
A mobile controller lets you use your phone like a mini Stream Deck for Shiny's Streaming Services. You choose which buttons you want, like death +1, timer start, or create clip. You can also set their colors and arrange their order in the dashboard. After that, just open the Controller URL on your phone.
How it fits the other tools
Each button uses the same public /api/... endpoints that Nightbot and Stream Deck already use. OBS Display URLs update live using SSE. Your phone just acts as the remote control.
Named vs current
- Named button: This always controls one specific counter or timer. If you delete that counter, the button disappears automatically.
- Use current: This controls whichever death, win-loss, or timer is currently active. It keeps working even if you switch games, so you don't need to edit the board.
Setup
- Create your counters, win/loss displays, or timers as you normally would.
- Next, go to Dashboard → controller, make a board, add your buttons, and save your changes.
- Then, copy the Controller URL to your phone using Safari or Chrome. You can also add it to your Home Screen if you want.
